Humber Polytechnic airport limo.
The closest campus in Ontario to Toronto Pearson, on one flat published rate, from a family that has been meeting flights at this airport since 1976.
Pearson to Humber, flat
The flat GTAA-tariff fare for 205 Humber College Blvd, Etobicoke, ON M9W 5L7, HST included, the same in both directions. Etobicoke is priced by neighbourhood zone, so a residence a few streets away can sit in a different zone; enter the exact address and your fare shows before you confirm. 5 to 17 km · about 10 to 25 minutes. Never surges.
Of every college and university we drive to, Humber's North Campus is the nearest to the terminals. It sits just off Highway 427 south of Finch, a short run from the airport that on a quiet evening takes about a quarter of an hour. That closeness is exactly why the trip is worth booking rather than improvising: it is too short for anyone to feel good about paying an airport meter, and short enough that a fixed price and a driver already waiting is simply the calm way to end a long flight.
The fare here is the flat rate for the campus zone under the official airport tariff, with HST already inside it, and it does not move for the hour, the day, or a flight that lands three hours behind schedule. It is settled with the driver at the end, by card or cash in the car, so a parent arranging the ride from another country pays nothing up front and is never asked for a card to hold the booking.
September brings a very particular version of this trip: a student who has never seen Toronto, two large suitcases and a carry-on, landing after twenty hours in the air. The sedan takes three passengers and three checked bags. If a full year of belongings is coming along, the SUV is the honest answer, with six seats and five bags and nothing riding on anyone's knees.
Your first landing at Pearson, in order
- Your flight is tracked automatically from the moment you book, so a late departure or a slow taxi to the gate moves your driver's timing without a call from anyone.
- Included waiting starts from wheels-down: 60 minutes on international arrivals, 30 on domestic. That is enough for immigration, a study permit interview, and baggage for almost everyone.
- When you reach arrivals with your bags, look at your phone. Your chauffeur has texted the exact spot they are standing, curbside at your terminal, with the car's licence plate.
- Walk out, find the plate, and the driver loads everything. Nothing to sign and nothing to pay yet.
- At the campus door you pay the driver, by card or cash in the car, exactly the flat fare you saw when the trip was booked. HST is already in it.
Where the car goes on campus
- North Campus residence is at the same Humber College Boulevard address as the college itself, and its front desk is staffed around the clock, which matters when a delayed connection turns a 6 p.m. arrival into a 2 a.m. one. Put the building in the booking notes and the driver goes to that entrance.
- The University of Guelph-Humber shares this campus at 207 Humber College Boulevard, one address along. Students there book exactly the same trip at the same rate; enter the Guelph-Humber address on the booking page so the driver knows which door.
- Humber's Lakeshore Campus sits by the water at Kipling and Lake Shore Boulevard West, a different address in a different zone with its own published fare. Enter the campus you are actually going to and the correct number appears before you confirm.
- The Learning Resource Commons and the Barrett Centre for Technology Innovation are the buildings visitors are most often headed for, and conference and open-house arrivals are the same flat fare as a student move-in.
- Because the drive is so short, the pickup time for a departing flight is set from that day's traffic on the 427 rather than a rule of thumb. Getting to the terminal from this campus is quick even in rush hour; getting through the terminal is the part to leave time for.
Every trip includes
- GTAA-tariff flat rate. HST included.
- Meet & greet at arrivals: coming soon.
- Flight tracking automatically. If you land early, the driver knows; if you're delayed, the pickup shifts.
- Complimentary airport wait from wheels-down: 60 minutes international, 30 domestic.
- Free cancellation up to 2 hours before pickup.
Humber questions, answered.
How much is a limo from Pearson to Humber College?
It is the flat published rate for the North Campus zone, shown above for the sedan and the SUV with HST included. It is the same fare in both directions, at any hour of the day, and a late flight does not change it. Nothing is added for weekends or bad weather.
How long is the drive from the airport to Humber North Campus?
Usually about fifteen minutes, sometimes as little as ten late in the evening, and up to twenty-five when Highway 427 is heavy. It is the shortest airport run of any campus we serve, which is also why so many students who tried to sort it out on arrival wish they had booked it.
Can a parent overseas book this for a student?
Yes, and most first-year bookings come that way. Put your own mobile number in with its country code, tick that the trip is for someone else, and add the student's number. Your phone gets the confirmation, the student's phone gets the driver's message on the day, and the fare is paid to the driver at the campus.
Where exactly does the driver meet a first-time arrival?
Curbside on the arrivals level of their terminal. Before they have their bags off the belt, the driver has texted the precise spot and the licence plate to look for. If the student's phone will not work in Canada yet, add a second number to the booking and the message goes there instead.
What happens if immigration takes a long time?
The flight is tracked from the moment the trip is booked, so the driver's timing follows the aircraft. Included waiting runs 60 minutes from wheels-down on an international arrival and 30 on a domestic one. Past that the posted per-10-minute rate applies and the driver stays.
Is Guelph-Humber the same trip?
Yes. Guelph-Humber occupies the North Campus at the neighbouring address, so it is the same drive and the same published fare. Enter the Guelph-Humber street address on the booking page and the driver pulls up at that entrance.
Do you serve the Lakeshore Campus too?
Yes, but it is a separate address in a separate fare zone, so the number is different and you will see it on the booking page once you enter that address. Book the campus you are going to rather than assuming the two match.
Sedan or SUV for a student moving in?
The sedan is right for three people with three checked bags, which covers a visit or a light trip. A student arriving for the full year with two large cases plus carry-ons should book the SUV: six seats, five checked bags, everything in the back.
What about the flight home at the end of term?
The same fare in reverse. Book the pickup from residence with the flight number and we set the time from live traffic and your airline's check-in window. Cancellation is free up to 2 hours before pickup, and dispatch answers around the clock if the flight moves.
