Guelph is close enough to Pearson that the trip is an hour, not an expedition: Highway 401 west to the Hanlon, north to Stone Road, and the car is at the residence entrance. - First-year residences are spread across the campus and each has its own entrance the driver can use: South Residence off Stone Road, East Residence and Lennox-Addington on the east side, and Johnston Hall, Lambton Hall, Mills, Macdonald and Watson in the older heart of the campus. Name the building in the booking notes.
- The campus sits between Gordon Street, College Avenue and Stone Road, and the driver approaches from whichever gate is closest to the building rather than from a single main entrance.
- The Old University neighbourhood, the student streets south of College Avenue and the apartments along Stone Road are all inside the same published rate as the campus itself.
- Move-in falls in the days before Labour Day. Reserve the car as soon as the ticket is bought; the driver and plate are texted to the student before the pickup.
- Off-peak the drive is about 50 minutes from the Pearson curb to Stone Road; a weekday afternoon through the Milton stretch of the 401 can run to 70. For a flight out we set the pickup from live traffic.
