Brock sits on the Niagara Escarpment above St. Catharines, about 110 kilometres from Pearson: down the 427 to the QEW, over the Burlington Skyway and the Garden City Skyway, and up Highway 406 to St. David's Road. On a clear day that is a little over an hour; on a summer Friday with Niagara Falls traffic it is not, and a driver who knows when to leave the QEW is most of what you are paying for.
The fare is the St. Catharines published out-of-town rate, HST included, the same to DeCew Residence at the top of the hill as to a student house in Thorold or a hotel downtown. It shows on the booking page before you confirm, it is the same in both directions, and it is paid to the driver at the end, by card or cash in the car. Nothing is paid in advance, so a parent booking from another country is never asked for a card.
The Marilyn I. Walker School downtown, the Goodman School of Business and the Niagara wine and sport-tourism programs bring visitors through the same door all year, and the trip reverses for every flight home. Most first-years arrive with more than the sedan's three bags, so the SUV, with room for six passengers and five bags, is the usual booking for move-in.

- The campus is reached from Highway 406 at St. David's Road and up Glenridge Avenue to Sir Isaac Brock Way; the Schmon Tower is the landmark the driver aims for, and the residence entrances are a minute past it.
- The Marilyn I. Walker School of Fine and Performing Arts is downtown on Artists' Common, a separate address inside the same St. Catharines rate.
- Move-in falls in the days before Labour Day, which is also the last big Niagara tourism weekend of the summer. Book as soon as the flight is ticketed; we set the pickup time from live QEW conditions.
- Off-peak the drive is about 65 minutes; a weekday afternoon or a summer weekend on the QEW can run toward 95, with the two skyways the usual chokepoints.
