Wilfrid Laurier University airport limo.
Toronto Pearson to the Waterloo campus on the published Waterloo rate, either direction, from a family that has been meeting flights since 1976.
Pearson to Laurier, flat
The published out-of-town rate for Waterloo, HST included, the same to 75 University Ave W, Waterloo, ON N2L 3C5 as to any address in the city, and the same in both directions. 80 to 95 km · about 60 to 80 minutes. Never surges.
Laurier's Waterloo campus sits at University Avenue and King Street, about 95 kilometres from Pearson and typically 60 to 80 minutes by car: west on Highway 401, north on the Conestoga Parkway, and a short run along University Avenue. For a student landing from abroad, that is the difference between arriving at the residence door with the bags in the back and arriving at a bus terminal with the hard part still ahead.
The fare is the Waterloo published out-of-town rate, HST included, and it is the number for the campus address rather than a Kitchener figure that would be lower on paper and wrong at the door. It is the same to Bricker Residence as to an apartment on King Street North, the same in both directions, and it is paid to the driver at the end of the trip by card or cash. A parent booking from another continent pays nothing in advance and is not asked for a card.
Laurier's Brantford campus is a different city with its own published rate; enter the Brantford address on the booking page and that fare shows instead. Visiting faculty, families on a tour and conference guests at the Lazaridis building ride on the same tracked pickup as the students, and the trip reverses at term's end for the flights home.
Your first landing at Pearson, in order
- Your flight is tracked automatically from the moment you book, so a late departure or a slow taxi to the gate moves your driver's timing without a call from anyone.
- Included waiting starts from wheels-down: 60 minutes on international arrivals, 30 on domestic. That is enough for immigration, a study permit interview, and baggage for almost everyone.
- When you reach arrivals with your bags, look at your phone. Your chauffeur has texted the exact spot they are standing, curbside at your terminal, with the car's licence plate.
- Walk out, find the plate, and the driver loads everything. Nothing to sign and nothing to pay yet.
- At the campus door you pay the driver, by card or cash in the car, exactly the flat fare you saw when the trip was booked. HST is already in it.
Where the car goes on campus
- The residences cluster around University Avenue, Bricker Avenue and King Street, and the driver pulls up to the building rather than to a general entrance: Bricker Residence, Conrad Hall, Willison Hall, Leupold and Euler on the campus side, and King Street Residence a short way north. Name the building in the booking notes.
- Lazaridis Hall, the Fred Nichols Campus Centre and the Athletic Complex on King Street are the drop-offs visiting speakers and families ask for most, on the same Waterloo rate.
- The University of Waterloo is at the other end of University Avenue on the same rate, so two friends at the two universities can share one car from Pearson and be dropped at both doors.
- September move-in and the January intake are the busy weeks on this corridor. Reserve as soon as the flight is booked; the driver and licence plate reach the student by text ahead of pickup.
- Allow about an hour outside the rush; a Friday or a weekday afternoon can stretch it to 80 minutes through the Milton section of the 401. Heading to the airport, we set the pickup hour from the traffic that day.
Every trip includes
- GTAA-tariff flat rate. HST included.
- Meet & greet at arrivals: coming soon.
- Flight tracking automatically. If you land early, the driver knows; if you're delayed, the pickup shifts.
- Complimentary airport wait from wheels-down: 60 minutes international, 30 domestic.
- Free cancellation up to 2 hours before pickup.
